ULSD – EN 590 DIESEL

RUSBEK AGRICO supplies Ultra-Low Sulphur Diesel (ULSD) meeting EN 590 requirements to customers across international markets. ULSD – EN 590 is a high-quality automotive diesel fuel designed for modern compression-ignition engines and widely traded across European and international markets. The product is suitable for road transportation, commercial fleets, logistics operations, industrial applications and other professional fuel requirements.

PRODUCT SPECIFICATION

ULSD supplied under the EN 590 specification is subject to the applicable product requirements agreed between the buyer and seller.

Typical EN 590 parameters include:

  • Cetane number: minimum 52
  • Cetane index: minimum 46
  • Sulphur content: maximum 10 mg/kg
  • Density at 15°C: 833–837 kg/m³
  • Flash point: minimum 55°C
  • Kinematic viscosity at 40°C: 2.30–3.30 mm²/s
  • Polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons: maximum 8% m/m under the applicable specification
  • Water content, contamination, lubricity, oxidation stability and other parameters according to the applicable EN 590 requirements

The exact product specification, grade, seasonal requirements and applicable quality parameters are confirmed for each transaction and destination market. Product documentation and independent inspection can be arranged according to the agreed contractual procedure.

FOB – INSPECTION AND LIFTING

For FOB transactions, the buyer may arrange its own vessel and take delivery of the product at the agreed loading port.

The transaction may be structured so that the buyer receives the relevant authorization and documentation required to verify the product and arrange an independent inspection of Quality & Quantity before payment and lifting.

Following successful inspection and completion of the agreed contractual conditions, the buyer may:

load the product onto its own nominated vessel and transport it to the final destination; or
request shipment and delivery arrangements through the seller, subject to the agreed terms.

The exact inspection, loading and payment procedure is defined in the sales contract and confirmed with the relevant supplier, terminal and inspection company.

VESSEL-LOADED DELIVERY

Another trading solution is delivery with the product already loaded on board the nominated vessel.

In this structure, the buyer receives the relevant documentation and Authority To Board (ATB) and can arrange an independent inspection of the cargo for Quality & Quantity by companies like SGS, B.V., Dekra, Intertek, TÜV .

Following successful inspection and completion of the agreed payment conditions, the vessel proceeds toward the nominated final destination.

This structure enables the buyer to purchase an already-loaded cargo and continue transportation to its destination without arranging the initial loading operation independently.

CIF – DELIVERY TO FINAL DESTINATION

For CIF transactions, RUSBEK AGRICO can arrange the supply and transportation of the product to the buyer's nominated destination port.

The commercial structure, shipping arrangements and required banking instrument are agreed in advance as part of the contractual terms.

Where a banking instrument is required, the buyer's bank provides the agreed instrument in accordance with the seller's contractual requirements. The shipment is then arranged according to the agreed schedule.

Upon arrival at the destination, the buyer may arrange an independent inspection of the cargo for quality and quantity in accordance with the agreed contractual procedure. Payment is completed according to the agreed payment terms and applicable banking arrangements.

INDEPENDENT INSPECTION

Independent Quality and Quantity inspection is an important part of international petroleum trading.

Depending on the transaction structure, the buyer may appoint an independent inspection company to verify:

  • Product Quality
  • Product Specification
  • Product Quantity
  • Sampling Results
  • Loading or discharge measurements
  • Compliance with the agreed contractual specification

Inspection procedures, timing and the appointed inspection company are agreed before the transaction and incorporated into the contractual documentation.
